I have been listening and participating with the mobeetie bunch since Christmas 2007, and thought it might be a good time to say that I have enjoyed the contacts that I have made and have enjoyed the encouragement I have had from a great bunch of guys to improve my station and participate in amateur radio. Therefore, I respectfully request and accept your welcome and wish to be added to the roster of the group.
73 to all,

I have been listening to the group in the evening the last couple of night on an invite from Mark, KE7RZR. Will be listening some more. I just got my ticket grant three nights ago and am looking forward to learning the ropes. Thanks. |

Just showing my grandson my new 24 yr old radio. An IC-751. He got a kick out of your talking about shooting coyotes. He just got his first one about 4 weeks ago while out turkey hunting. Got it with a 7mm.

Howdy! :) I came across your group a couple days ago, as I was doing antenna comparisons. Several folks on frequency helped me with reports and that's what I needed. Enjoy exchanging a few words and was invited in! My pleasure. Just checked out some of the website. I'll make it a point to stop by as often as I can. Enjoyed the fellas on the freq. Thanks. Check me out at QRZ.com.

Hello all,
Just found your site. My call is KD8MJ and if I can ever get my antenna up I would like to join you all. Only running a barefoot 100 watt station at the moment. Been licensed since 1974 but on and off the air thru the yrs due to careers.

I'm glad everyone is enjoying the website. We have the discussion area for ongoing comments, discussions, clearing the air, stinkin up the air, mobeetie hits the fan, general bravo sierra etc. Lets use the discussion board and leave this area for visitor comments. the discussion board address is http://www.mobeetiebunch.net /Discussion
there's also a link on the home page.
Hello Bill, hey, the skunk deodorizer may be just what is need. Can you catch a couple and let them in with the cats? - - Tim |
